A Cost Center is an accounting unit that allows a company to track both revenue and expenses for different activites, such as a department, function, region, etc.

The Cost Center can be free text or constructed using up to three segments that are defined in the Cost Center Segments setup. By default FOURA does not have any segments enabled.

Note: When Cost Center Segments are setup then the CC field will be read-only and the Seg 1 / Seg 2 / Seg 3 fields will be displayed. A value is required for each enabled segment and the cost center and the cost center description will be automatically set.
