The Avalara Setup form is where you enter your Avalara connection information and tell FOURA to enable Avalara Integration.

Enabling or Disabling Avalara

To enable Avalara integration in FOURA, you must setup and test your Avalara connection, then check the "Enable Avalara" checkbox. To disable Avalara integration simply uncheck the "Enable Avalara" checkbox.

Avalara Connection

After you sign up with Avalara, you must enter the following information to allow FOURA to connect:

Account - Your Avalara account number
License Key - Your Avalara API Key. This field will be masked by default. The value will only be shown after you select this field and start editing the value.
Company Code - The company code you setup in Avalara. If you don't change it, this will be DEFAULT.
Use Sandbox - Check this box to use your Avalara sandbox account.

Note: The Avalara Sandbox environment is intended to be used for testing and training. Transactions created in this environment will not count towards your taxes owed. In most cases, you will only want this box to be checked in your FOURA training environment. This box should NOT be checked in your FOURA production environment.

Testing Your Connection

After you enter your connection information click Test Connection to make sure your account is working BEFORE you enable Avalara. When you test the connection a popup will appear showing the test results. If the "Authenticated" response is "True", then the connection is working!

Viewing the Avalara Log

Click the View Log button to view the Avalara Log. The Avalara Log contains a history of all API calls made by FOURA to Avalara.
